Text Box: HPreVent  “Nurse Squad” joins Minneapolis  Zombie Pub Crawl
The Zombie Pub Crawl is a free event near the U of MN attracting hundreds of self-made zombies annually.

Join MN NOW members who will dress up like nurses & distribute free condoms & information about ways to prevent cervical cancer, including the new HPV vaccine and yearly pap tests.

Wear your own nurse costume & meet up outside the U of MN Law School (Walter F Mondale Hall) at 229 19th Ave. South—the corner of Washington and 19th—at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, October 18th.  
MN NOW will bring condoms and information to distribute, and then we’ll all walk around the corner and join the main pub crawl in the seven corners area together.

Why is this important to you, your friends, and your family? 

80 percent of women will contract sexually transmitted Human Papillomavirus (HPV) during their lifetimes. Left untreated, some strains of the virus will lead to cervical cancer.

The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2008, 11,070 women will be diagnosed with cervical cancer in the U.S.

Donate now to help fund future HPreVent actions! Watch for more action alerts and information about the HPreVent campaign! Join us on Saturday, October 18!  Help educate  fellow zombies about how to prevent HPV and end cervical cancer.  Let them know a vaccine can their lives.
